Has someone changed how you see yourself?
Sometimes...
Someone comes into your life
and leaves you seeing yourself a little differently.
Not smaller—
but more capable, more steady,
more able than you realized.
It’s not always something obvious.
It's not always something you could point to
or explain in a single moment.
But something about it stayed with you.
And over time it changed how you saw yourself.
You might be thinking of someone as you read this.
If you are, just pause there for a moment.
What was it about them?
Was it how they listened?
How they responded?
The space they gave you to think,
to speak,
to find your own way through something?
Maybe they didn’t say anything remarkable.
But you left that interaction feeling a little more certain,
a little more grounded,
a little more like you could handle what was in front of you.
Not every experience shapes us this way.
But when it happens it tends to stay.
And over time those moments don’t just remain as memories.
They begin to influence how you respond,
how you decide,
how you show up.
Because sometimes without planning to...
we carry that forward.
Not in big, obvious ways.
But in small moments—
in how we listen,
how we respond,
how we stay present with someone else.
Pause and consider:
Who came to mind as you read this?
What was it about how they showed up?
How did that affect you then, or even now?

I've been shaping something around this idea of how we show up for others.
Let's keep going!
